EX5

Polyethylene EX5 is a high molecular weight heavy polyethylene copolymerized with 1-butene as a comonomer. This high molar mass is suitable for blow film applications. When compared to EX4, it demonstrates lower stiffness but increased tenacity. HDPE EX5 is one of the simplest and cheapest polymers and is a waxy and inactive solid polyethylene.
PE EX5 comes with a density of 0.949 g/cm³ and its melt flow index (MFI) is 8 (190 °C/21.6 Kg). It is available in the form of granules (pellets) and contains antioxidants, process stabilizers, lubricants, and acid scavengers as additives.
